Jason Dangelo Jenkins, 41 years of age, from St. Paul, MN has been arrested by the Wisconsin
State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with
three children in the vehicle under the age of 16.
On August 26th at 12:01am a Trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol initiated a traffic stop on a
vehicle on I94 eastbound near mile marker 91 for a speed violation.
The Trooper detected indicators of criminal activity from the driver and the vehicle. A probable
cause search was conducted on the vehicle. During the search Troopers located marijuana and
ecstasy. The driver, Jason Jenkins, admitted to smoking marijuana an hour earlier and showed
signs of impairment. Standard field sobriety tests were conducted and a legal blood draw was
performed. Mr. Jenkins was arrested for operating under the influence of a controlled substance,
1st offense, with minors in the vehicle. There was one adult female passenger in the vehicle along
with three children ages 15, 6, and 2. Transportation was provided for the passengers to a local
hotel. Mr. Jenkins was cited for operating without a valid license, speeding, open intoxicants, OWI
with minor passengers, possession of thc, and possession of ecstasy.
