Coach Randy Storlie of the Blair-Taylor Boys’ basketball
team has moved into 4 th place in Wisconsin basketball
high school coaching history. Storlie has moved into a tie
for 4 th place with 646 over-all wins with the legendary
coach of Sheboygan North in Tom Desotell. “I can
remember watching Desotell coach at state before I was
even in high school and now I am tied with him, it is hard
to believe,” stated a humble Storlie. Leading all coaches
in wins is of course Jerry Petitgoue from Cuba City with
1, 027 followed by Jon Murphy of Kimberly at 666 and
Bob Letsch from St. Cats out of Racine with 661. Murphy
and Storlie are the only two active coaches. “I plan to
keep on coaching not for the wins, but because I love the
game and teaching the game of basketball to our young
people. It is so much fun!”
