The Jackson County Memory Café is planning a special autumn outing for individuals experiencing dementia or other forms of memory loss, along with their care partners. The Afternoon Cruise will take place Wednesday, September 30th, beginning at 2 p.m. Participants will enjoy a relaxing pontoon ride along the scenic Black River, departing from the Docside Bar and Grill Boat Landing on Riverview Road in Black River Falls. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided following the cruise. Organizers say the event is designed to provide an afternoon of social connection, relaxation and fun in a welcoming environment.
