Timothy Rose, 50, of Taylor passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, surrounded by family and friends at his home.

Tim was born on January 8, 1974, to Gerald and Anna (Dow) Ross. Later Anna remarried, Bill Rose, who adopted Tim. They divorced and Anna married Randy Joten in 1979. He graduated from Blair-Taylor High School and continued his education at WTC to obtain certification for welding. He married Michelle Nerison, though they later divorced. He joined the Taylor Fire Department in 1992 and became fire chief in 2014. Tim was also part of the First Responders since August 2022.

He owned and operated Tim Rose Trucking and hauled milk for Organic Valley for the last 10 years. Tim was on the JC Dive team. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and riding his motorcycle when not working. Some of his fondest memories were fighting forest fires in the western United States and scuba diving in Cozumel, Mexico.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother Ann, nephew, Devin, grandparents, Joyce Joten, Gail & Rosella Ross, Loren Dow, and Lucille Yahke.

He is survived by his daughters, Alexis (Charles) and Maya (Longmay); step-father, Randy Joten; siblings, Melissa (Dave), Michelle (Trevor), Jessica (Zach), Randy (Melissa); nieces and nephews, Arryanna (Derek), Kasey (Reese), Lincoln, grandfather, John Joten along with many other family members.

The celebration of life memorial service for Tim will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Old High School in Taylor, WI. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, MEMORIALS TO THE FAMILY ARE PREFERRED.
