A Kendall man has been sentenced following a deadly crash in Vernon County nearly two years ago. 38-year-old Dustin Downing will serve six months in jail and four years on probation for a May 2022 crash that killed one person and injured several others. The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened near Mount Tabor. Downing admitted to driving despite having a revoked license and appeared disoriented at the scene, according to the criminal complaint. If he violates his sentence, he faces an additional two years in prison and two years of extended supervision.
