The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will hold its September meeting Wednesday, September 23, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay.
The board will consider several proposed rule changes involving electronics recycling, invasive species, walleye fishing regulations, fish possession limits, Lake Superior fisheries, forestry grants, and endangered and threatened species.
The board will also receive an update on the DNR’s 2027-29 biennial budget request and a report on the 2026 wildfire season.
The public can watch the meeting online through the Wisconsin DNR’s YouTube channel. People wishing to provide public testimony or submit written comments must register by 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 16. Remote testimony may be available through Zoom, and in-person appearances are also welcome.
The NRB Tour is scheduled for September 22.
