A Wisconsin Rapids resident is $2 million richer after winning the top prize in a Wisconsin Lottery scratch game. Kelly Reitz claimed a $2 million winning $2 Million Royale ticket purchased at Nekoosa Mart in Nekoosa. The ticket was recently validated at the Wisconsin Lottery office in Madison.

The $50 scratch game debuted in January and Reitz is the first top-prize winner. Lottery officials say one more $2 million top prize and several other major prizes remain available.

The winning ticket is the largest Lottery winner ever sold by Nekoosa Mart. As a result, the retailer will receive a $40,000 incentive from the Wisconsin Lottery’s Retailer Performance Program.
