The Wisconsin Workforce Development Association (WWDA) will host their statewide Talent Development Conference AKA “TDCON23” in La Crosse for the first time!
La Crosse, WI – The Wisconsin Workforce Development Association (WWDA), comprised of leadership
from the eleven regional workforce development boards in Wisconsin, announce its annual conference
“TDCON23: The New Paradigm Shift: Exploring Solutions to Workforce Challenges”. The conference will
take place on April 11 and 12 at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, WI.
“With Wisconsin’s statewide unemployment rate reaching a record low of 2.7% and the state adding
7,500 jobs in February, we’ve got to reimagine workforce development and how we deliver services to
jobseekers and businesses,” stated Anthony Snyder, Chair of WWDA. “The goal of this year’s conference is
to increase meaningful partnerships and explore innovative practices to promote economic revitalization in
communities of any scale, rural or urban, across Wisconsin.”
The conference will bring the leading voices in workforce and talent development for two days of
dialogue to explore promising practices around talent attraction and retention, DEI initiatives, Wisconsin’s
economic outlook, federal workforce policy updates, emerging workforce pipeline trends, and much more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from the following industry experts, business leaders, and
influencers.
