AmburLynn Marie Dahn, age 30, of Oakdale, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at her home, surrounded by those she loved. Born on July 25, 1996, in Tomah to William and Josie (Meyer) Wilson, Ambur grew up with a bright, creative spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a proud member of the Tomah High School Class of 2014.
On January 28, 2024, Ambur married her high school sweetheart, Bowman “Bo” T. Dahn, in a heartfelt ceremony at Meadow Valley Community Church in Mather, officiated by Pastor Daren DeFord. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and devotion.
Ambur worked in customer service roles at Hearty Platter and Denny’s, where her kindness and warmth made a lasting impression on coworkers and patrons alike. Most recently, she was employed as a data entry specialist with Riglemon Appraisal Services, bringing diligence and care to her work.
A gifted and versatile artist, Ambur expressed herself through painting, poetry, crocheting, and countless crafts. Her creativity was matched only by her generosity. She gave freely — offering encouragement, a listening ear, a comforting shoulder, and even financial help when someone needed it. Her heart was tender, determined, and endlessly kind.
As a devoutly religious individual, Ambur’s faith in Jesus proved to be a great source of strength and comfort throughout her life. She found great joy in leading those around her in their journey with finding God and her inspiring sense of faith was a rock for her family during her battle with cancer.
Ambur had a special love for animals and often took in injured or abandoned creatures, nursing them back to health with patience and compassion. Her home was a haven for God’s creations, and her care reflected the depth of her gentle spirit.
Ambur will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her artistic soul, and her ability to make others feel seen, supported, and loved. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the art she created, and the compassion she shared so freely.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bo of Oakdale; brother, Zack Wilson; parents, William “Scott” (fiancé Jana Murray) Wilson and Josie Wilson; brother-in-law, Kody (Mariam) Taylor; grandparents, William Wilson and Cheryl (Ron) Hernandez; in-law, Dee (Craig) Brockman and Eric Dahn, as well as her God-daughter, Charlotte, whom Ambur cherished with all her heart. She is further survived by other relatives and many cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janet Wilson and a sister-in-law, Kayla Taylor.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 12 Noon at Murray’s on Main in their Banquet Hall.
