(Kenosha, WI) — A Kenosha police officer has been fired after accusations he assaulted a woman while she was in custody at a hospital. Twenty-seven-year-old Joshua Sylvester was a probationary officer at the time. Sylvester has been charged with second-degree sexual assault by a law enforcement officer and misconduct, both felonies. W-T-M-J/T-V reports the 34-year-old victim was in Sylvester’s custody after she was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Police say her allegations were supported by Sylvester’s own body camera.
