Marsha Rae Myher, 72, of Altoona passed away on March 14, 2023, in the San Diego hospital after becoming ill on the Hawaiian cruise she and Dennis planned 4 years ago. Marsha knew Dennis would have wanted her to go and would be with her in spirit.

Marsha was born to Lawrence and Lucy Green on January 3, 1951. She attended Lincoln High School. On March 28, 1970, she married her high school sweetheart, Dennis Myher. Together they built their family and business in Merrillan. They had two sons, Troy and Travis. They owned and operated the Double T convenience store. After selling the store, Dennis continued working in construction. For a while they even lived in Nevada while Dennis worked for the pipeline.

Marsha enjoyed her friends and family. She and Dennis would have big get togethers for their family and friends at their lake home. At some point you’d find Marsha on the mic singing karaoke. She loved her grandchildren. Whether it was a game of cards, Don’t Get Mad or just talking until midnight, she enjoyed it all! Marsha was always laughing.

Marsha is survived by her sons, Troy (Sheri) and Travis (Sarah); grandchildren Peyton, Hunter, Gunner and Brandon; Great-Grandson Zayne; brothers Larry and Steve (LuAnn); and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dennis, grandson Cohl, sister Vicky, brother-in-law Jerry and sister-in-law Marg.

Funeral Services for Marsha will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Merrillan United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood cemetery. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

The Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home of Hixton is assisting the family with arrangements. On-line condolences are available at www.jensenmodjeskifh.com
